Financial Controller

Position overview

This position is a professional financial position performing a wide variety of reporting, analysis and controlling related tasks under the supervision of the Finance Director EMEA. This position is part of the EMEA Finance team operating from various countries.

Performance of duties will require you to act in a professional and confidential manner. In the EMEA region, we have production facilities in 5 countries: Austria, Egypt, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Each of these locations has a Financial Controller who reports directly to the Director of Finance EMEA, and you will be working for the French organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring monthly closing reporting

• Monitoring and analyzing actual figures as well as maintaining existing dashboards

• Ensuring local planning & budget process inputs retrieve

• Monitoring customer rebate agreements

• Improving internal control to back up local financial information.

Qualifications and skills

• 2 to 3 Years degree in the field of Controlling or Finance

• A first experience in management controlling (Practice; entry level position), preferably in a production environment

• Knowledge of general accounting principles (e.g. IFRS), regulatory standards and compliance • requirements

• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility and confidentiality

• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills (particularly in English)

• Good use of MS excel, Power BI and affinity with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
