Position overview
The HSE Manager coordinates all HSE related activities for one of our plants. The HSE Manager is the to-go-to person for all HSE related issues in the plant. This position has a direct reporting line to the QHSE manager EMEA.
Key responsibilities
Drive & manage the local safety improvement program to ensure a safe work-place
Establish a culture of safe behaviour and accountability for maintaining safe practices
Promote awareness of matters related to safety, health and environmental awareness;
Audit the HSE standards and implementing risk assessments according to the audit plan;
Report of the HSE leading- and lagging kpi’s to local and regional management;
Be a liaison with external parties concerning health, safety and environment;
Ensure and maintain legal and regulatory compliance of the site;
Share knowledge of and educate colleagues on HSE topics.
Qualifications and Skills
A relevant bachelor’s degree.
At least 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced in ISO certification.
Proficient in the most used MS applications.
Fluent in the local language and an excellent command of English.
