Position overview
As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you will learn to build, monitor and maintain machines and production systems in various industrial areas. During your apprenticeship, you will work in various areas such as precision equipment construction, mechanical and plant engineering, production technology and maintenance. You will take on tasks such as producing spare parts, troubleshooting faults, optimising manufacturing processes and instructing customers and colleagues in the handling of the machines. This will prepare you optimally for a varied job in industry.
Key responsibilities
Precision equipment construction: Manufacture of special equipment and machine parts for extreme temperature ranges, test equipment and assembly aids.
Mechanical and plant engineering: Production of large components and preparation of machines for use.
Production technology: New construction of parts and equipment.
Maintenance: Repair, maintenance and care of the machines.
Quality assurance: Checking and ensuring the quality of manufactured components and machines to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications and skills
Secondary school leaving certificate, technical college entrance qualification or Abitur
good grades in science subjects such as mathematics and physics
Good knowledge of English is an advantage
Craftsmanship and technical interest
Reliability, care and accuracy
