Position overview
As a Technical Manager at Solmax, you will play a key role in bridging our sales team and clients by offering technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with our sales personnel, assisting them in identifying client needs, recommending solutions, and providing technical support. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients to ensure successful implementation of our solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support to the sales team in client meetings, proposals, and presentations, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs.
Develop and deliver technical documentation, training, and presentations to both internal teams and clients.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, guiding them through the implementation process and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Conduct site visits, assessments, and evaluations to determine the appropriate solutions for clients and provide recommendations accordingly.
Collaborate with the production team relaying customer feedback and market demands.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, working closely with clients and internal teams to address any challenges that arise.
Support post-sales activities, including follow-ups, technical training, and ongoing client support.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions, technical issues, and project milestones and stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to ensure Solmax remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Civil engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
5 years of experience in a technical support, technical sales, or project management role, preferably within the geosynthetics, environmental engineering, construction, etc. is a plus.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze project requirements and provide effective solutions. Demonstrated experience in project management, from initial planning through to execution and completion.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as MS Office Suite, CRM systems, etc. is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a passion for building lasting relationships.
Ability and willingness to travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and other company needs.
Company language in English, further languages are a plus.
