Position overview
In this position you will be a member of the French HR team which is currently composed of the HR manager and the Payroll manager for France. The role reports to the HR manager of France, but you will be involved in the EMEA HR team based in different locations (Egypt, Germany, Austria and Netherlands) and a wide variety of interactions with different stakeholders (sales, operations and supply chain managers for ex). As the human resources assistant, you will supports the HR department in various administrative tasks, helping to ensure efficient HR operations and a positive employee experience. This role involves maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment processes, and providing support in employee relations and benefits administration in a context of change and growth.
Key responsibilities
Administrative support: Assist in daily HR functions, including maintaining employee records, filing documents, and managing HR databases & reporting.
Recruitment Assistance: Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. You will also coordinate and challenge the different providers (temp agencies, headhunter etc.) to optimize in a cost-effective way, our recruitment processes.
Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing welcome materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits, providing support as needed.
Training Coordination: Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
HR Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations related to HR metrics and activities as required.
Special Projects: Support HR initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administrations, or related field preferred
Minimum 7 years of previous experience in HR role or administrative support
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities – Professionnal English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (Nibelis & UGK would be a plus)
Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
Team player - Enthusiastic to work with others in a team, keen to enhance the HR team skills
