Foundation consolidation systems

Foundation Consolidation is the use of geosynthetic drainage materials to accelerate the consolidation of soft foundation soils. Prefabricated vertical drains (PVD) are inserted into soft clay foundations to shorten the drainage path and the consolidation time, thereby reducing the construction time for infrastructure projects. Solmax's PVDs provide a cost-effective solution to the problem of long-term settlement of soft clay foundation and an increased shear strength resulting in increased stability of infrastructure facilities on the soft clay foundation.
