Subgrade stabilization
Traffic areas founded on soft soils are prone to deformations under the dynamic vehicle load. The use of geosynthetics beneath and in-between aggregate layers to uptake the traffic load and distribute it into the subgrade is one of the most efficient and widely used techniques in transportation engineering. Via their high tenacity and interaction with the soil, geosynthetics provide a significant add-on to the improved load-bearing behavior and therefore stability in road and railroad structures for the short and long term benefit of our traffic users.
